FlexConnect LED Strip Applications
The ease with which FlexConnect products can be connected together allows for an almost endless number of possible uses, from obvious home interior lighting through to lighting for signage and motorhomes. Being 12v it can easily be connected to battery supplies for use away from power sources and its adhesive backing makes mounting on any relatively flat surface a breeze. Below are some common applications to give you an idea of how our products are generally used.
Kitchens
The most common application for LED strips is in the kitchen. They provide both aesthestically pleasing and truly usable lighting effects, generally mounted under cabinets or under units at ground level as plinth lighting. The picture above shows Warm White standard LED strips lighting a traditional wooden kitchen cabinet. For more contemporary interiors you may find Cool White to be more complementary.
Bathrooms
FlexConnect LED strip is IP65 rated which means it is safe for use in damp areas such as kitchens and bathrooms, although it cannot be submerged. We have seen several very creative installations using our strip in bathrooms, including the one shown above where the customer raised a bath off the ground and mounted Warm White strip underneath to provide a very unique 'cushion of light' effect.
Bars and Nightclubs
RGB Colour Changing strip is very common in bars and nightclubs as it is ideal for providing washes of eye-catching coloured light across any surface. In the picture above you can see it being extensively used under the bar, in shelving and up walls to create a very distinctive and luxurious atmosphere.
